FRONT COVER: I made this flat plan for my magazine so when it comes to the construction, I am able to do know exactly where each element will go. I have made the flat plan based on the research of what looks successful on a magazine front cover on a shelf amongst other magazines.
CONTENTS PAGE: I blocked out my contents page with my research in mind. I also thought about the contents I have for this page and the smaller photo shoots I will need to do for this page because for the magazine to look realistic, I will need to feature a variety of artists on this page. This means doing mini photo shoots of different people.
DOUBLE PAGE: By designing this, I have been able to get a better idea of what each page will look like so I can beginning thinking about how the pages I'm creating will link together to ensure they look like they are all from the same magazine.
